Hour 2: Crafting Godly Uplifting Conversation

There is a need for honest, open dialogue in the public square. The world is desperate for it, yet all it seems people are willing to do is fight and argue or stay silent. The country needs healing. Our neighborhoods and cities need healing. Families are in dire need of healing in this area. God gives us the gift and the grace of the Word to help us foster harmony and peace. Coming up on Thursday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Dr. Stephanie Bennett joins us to discuss a new coined phrase: WORDSHIP.

Stephanie Bennett

Dr. Stephanie Bennett is Professor of Communication and Media Ecology at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Much of her research focuses on digital culture, with specific attention to the intersection of interpersonal communication and the Judeo-Christian faith.  Her roots in the work of Jacques Ellul, Walter Ong, and Neil Postman stem from a life-long desire to work toward organizational simplicity, strong community ties, and authenticity and intimacy in family, friendship, and spousal relationships.  As an educator, she is committed to helping others navigate the challenges in relationship development as changes posed by an increasingly mechanized, and de-personalized digital culture continue to rise.
