The truth is that most Christians struggle with prayer. The busyness of life often crowds out time alone with God to pray. Author and Women's Ministry Director, Cricket Keeth knew that her prayer life was not what it needed to be, so she wrote a new eight week bible study, On Bended Knee to help deepen her intimacy with God. Join Mornings with Eric and Brigitte on Wednesday as Cricket Keeth challenges us to dig deeper into God's Word and, as a result to see our own prayer life deepen.
Are you feeling overwhelmed and stressed in this season of concern over the global pandemic, civil unrest, and a polarizing election cycle? As believers in Christ, we are not immune to trouble. Although we face issues beyond our control, we have a Savior who has overcome the world. Coming up on Wednesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Wayne and Sharon Gill join us to discuss steps to live in the victory Jesus already accomplished for us.
Frontline workers are workers within essential industries who must physically show up to their jobs. Think of how many of those individuals in the last seven months have been dedicated to saving lives at our local hospitals. Moody Radio South Florida is taking time this month to thank the many frontline workers we have in this community who have taken care of us during this challenging season. Listen to Mornings with Eric and Brigitte on Wednesday to find out how YOU can be a part of our Thank You Frontline Worker Campaign that begins today!
Crickett Keeth is the Women's Ministry Director at First Evangelical Church in Memphis, Tennessee, where she writes and teaches the women's Bible studies. Crickett was on staff with Cru for ten years and is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminiary. Her life purpose is to encourage others to passionately pursue Jesus Christ.
Wayne and Sharon Gill have been partners in life for 34 years, and equal partners in business and ministry for almost as long. They were led back to church in their late twenties when their son was born prematurely and had to be hospitalized. They sensed that they needed God. They stumbled into a church not far from where they lived and in time, God began to slowly unveil His plan for their lives. In what took years, but now seems like a heartbeat, God changed them from the inside out. He led them to start and grow a successful law firm and a community ministry that fed and empowered the poor. They planted a mission church and worked with many other churches and ministries, preaching and teaching the Gospel, training leaders, and offering legal counsel. They wrote several books and Bible studies while raising two children and mentoring thousands personally and across their social media platforms.
