Friday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Executive Director, Kim Kerr tells us about their upcoming virtual celebration with testimonies and updates directly from Africa, Asia, America, and the Middle East, on Thursday, July 16 from 7 to 8 pm.
Friday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Pastor Josh Bramos joins us on the release date of his new album, The Provider on having a heart of worship, especially through difficult seasons. Josh Bramos leads worship here in South Florida and encourages other worship leaders through the ministry of Village Hymns. WRMB Station Manager, Jesse Carroccio will be co-hosting with Brigitte on Friday.
Kim is the founding Director of Women in the Window International. Her efforts are focused on local women leaders in Africa, Asia, America, and the Middle East and their unique and distinct role in bringing the power, love, and light of Jesus Christ to some of the darkest places in our world today.
Prior to starting Women in the Window International, Kim served as the Director of Partners International Women, the women’s initiative of Partners International, for eight years, leading a team of dozens to train more than 8,000 women leaders in strategic ministry initiatives in the 10/40 Window.
She also served as the Executive Director of ONE Woman, the women’s ministry of Mission ONE, for five years, and as Executive Director of LifeCare Ministries, a holistic, pro-life ministry for ten years, leading a team of eight staff members and more than 100 volunteers.
She has traveled to 42 nations so far, and doesn’t plan to stop anytime soon! Her training includes both formal training with Moody Bible Institute, Palm Beach Atlantic University, and Trinity Seminary, and non-formal training in various leadership workshops, conferences, and ongoing courses for her service in the church, community, and global networks.
She is the author of Women in the Window, a narrative inductive Bible study for women. She has taught this course to women in Morocco, Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, Senegal, Thailand, India, Cambodia, Vietnam, Ghana, Turkey, and Indonesia. She is currently preparing a Women in the Window “trainer of trainers” curriculum and a unique version of the course for Western women.
Josh Bramos has been a songwriter for the past fifteen years. His dream is to encourage worship leaders to write for the local church, and Village Hymns was birthed from that idea. He has been writing songs for the Church for many years with the hopes of heart and mind transformation for the Church. Josh believes that an important tool for God's work is songwriting, and he believes that Scripture backs this up. People publicly declare things with their mouths in front of God and man when they sing. By them doing that they are accountable for their words. I say this because this is a great way to educate and teach the truths of God's Word through the songs they write.
