As the Church, we are one body with many members. Many members with different thoughts, feelings and opinions. How can we show love and acceptance even with believers who differ from us? Thursday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Pastor Edward Robinson reflects on Romans 14 for some answers. Desmond Cook, Multi-area Director of Fellowship of Christian Athletes co-hosts with Brigitte on Thursday.
Urban Youth Impact is on a mission to love, equip, and empower inner-city youth to fulfill their God-given purpose. Thursday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Chris Tress, UYI President joins us to share how they are showing the love of Christ in our communities and how you can join them!
Edward Robinson is the Family Life Pastor at Riverside Church, a Gospel-Centered Church in Broward County serving others in Coral Springs, Coconut Creek, Parkland, Tamarac, Sunrise and South Florida.
Chris began working with the inner-city community of Tamarind Avenue in 1998 at Urban Youth Impact. In 2004 the president of Urban Youth Impact, Bill Hobbs, asked Chris to plant Bow Down, a multicultural church focused on transforming the Tamarind Avenue community through the power of the gospel. The church began to grow and in 2011, Chris became the full-time pastor at Bow Down Church. Chris became president of Urban Youth Impact in 2019, working with Bill Hobbs to continue to love, equip, and empower the children of this community. Chris and his beautiful wife Colleen have two children. They have been called to inner-city ministry, making the Tamarind Avenue community their home.
