Hour 1: Resources for Parents Working with Children During Quarantine Days

Tuesday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, we will discuss how many parents are working with children of all ages with many different needs during this challenging time at home, and some may be having a difficult time just making it through the day. MBI Associate Professor of Children and Family Ministry, Elizabeth Smith and her students have developed a "Quarantine Newsletter" to encourage parents, ministry leaders, and others by providing free or inexpensive resources that teach children about Jesus.

Tuesday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, former NFL player and Pastor of Transformation Church in South Carolina, Derwin Gray believes that through the Beatitudes, Jesus invites us to experiences His kind of happiness, as citizens in his kingdom, and he shares more about this unique pursuit of happiness in his book, The Good Life.

Dr. Derwin L. Gray is the founding and lead pastor of Transformation Church, a multiethnic, multigenerational, mission-shaped community in Indian Land, SC. Gray met his wife, Vicki, at Brigham Young University (BYU). They have been married since 1992 and have two adult children.  After graduating from BYU, he played professional football in the NFL for five years with the Indianapolis Colts and Carolina Panthers. In 2008, Gray graduated from Southern Evangelical Seminary magna cum laude with a Master of Divinity and was mentored during that time by Dr. Norman Geisler. Gray received his Doctor of Ministry in the New Testament in Context at Northern Seminary.
