"Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." Psalm 46:10. This phrase originates from the Hebrew, raphah. This verb may mean to relax, to cease, to let go. Tuesday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Dr. James Marcum with Heartwise Ministries reminds us that in this challenging time, we need to realize that God is in control and to 'be still' and let go of the anxiety we feel, taking this opportunity to grow closer in our relationship to Jesus Christ.
Each of us can choose to be driven by fear or led by truth. Relying on God instead of circumstances or news reports, we’ll be available to share His love with a world that desperately needs the Good Shepherd. Tuesday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Licensed Counselor, Marti Wibbels shares that while the world is overwhelmed with anxiety related to COVID-19, Christians can live in hope, peace, and joy, entrusting our fear to God and experiencing His peace that passes understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Dr. James Marcum is board certified in cardiology and authored the book Heartbeat, focusing on the Biblical approach to understanding and treating heart disease. Dr. Marcum is the director of, and speaker for, HeartWise Ministries (Biblical Prescriptions for Life).
