Continue to catch a fresh vision for making God’s Word the center of your life by joining us for Founder's Week, and the theme this year is For Such a Time As This. Wednesday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Kelli Worrall, chair of the Music and Media Arts division and professor of Communications at MBI, speaking on Esther 1-2, will talk about how earthly kings may take pride or pleasure in their own power but God--the truly Sovereign King--patiently prepares and positions His people to carry out His plan.
Wednesday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Adam Holz from Focus on the Family's Plugged in Movie Reviews shares how moms and dads can have discussions with their kids on how to watch movies in ways that equip them to have strong media discernment and make wise choices themselves. Parents have enough pressure in worrying about what their kids should or shouldn’t be viewing, which is why Plugged In is stepping in to help parents teach their kids how to make those decisions on their own.
Kelli Worrall has been a professor of communications at Moody Bible Institute since 1998. She is the author of two books Pierced and Embraced and 20 Things We’d Tell Our Twentysomething Selves (written with her husband, Peter). Kelli earned a Masters of Religious Education from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Roosevelt University. She speaks regularly at women’s events and together with Peter at both marriage and young adult retreats. Peter and Kelli are the parents of two children through adoption.
Adam Holz is the Interim Plugged In Movie Director.
