Hour 1: Super Bowl Breakfast

The Super Bowl Breakfast has taken place in the Super Bowl host city every year since 1988, drawing sellout crowds to hear from some of sport’s biggest names, and this year it's in Miami!  The Athletes in Action Bart Starr Award will again honor the NFL player who best exemplifies outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field and in the community. Friday, Director of Special Projects at Athetes in Action, Terry Bortz will join Mornings with Eric and Brigitte to talk about how she loves to see the platform of sports used to change lives.

Hour 2: Human Trafficking Awareness

The issue of human trafficking needs our attention, and law enforcement tells us that this type of activity increases around big sporting events like the Super Bowl.  Many want to know what they can to help victims and survivors.  Friday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Liza E. Smoker, Managing Director of the Human Trafficking Academy at the St. Thomas University School of Law will tell us about a free event open to the public on Saturday, January 25 in Miami Gardens, Florida and how we can join the fight against human trafficking.
