The whole financial system is based on uncertainty, and no decision will ever feel perfect. Watch out for the comparison trap, and don't be too hard on yourself. Remind yourself that God is really the owner. Mornings with Eric and Brigitte will welcome financial expert, Glenn Zimmerman on Monday to talk about finding the right balance of confidence, decisiveness, and humility with our financial decisions.
Many people today feel lonely, isolated, and disconnected from God and others. We crave authentic community, but we have no idea where to start. We'd be glad to cultivate friendships; but honestly, who's got the time? Monday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, writer, speaker and teacher, Leslie Verner says real hospitality is not having a Pinterest-perfect table or having your house clean, comfortable, or controlled. Holy hospitality requires more of Jesus and less of us.
Failures of all kinds, moral and otherwise, are happening to leaders, celebrities and people we know, and they just keep coming. Part of why we need to hear them is not to pass on a juicy morsel of gossip. Paul tells Timothy, (and we need to tell each other) that these failures are (in part) to warn us, and we need to heed the warnings today. We must guard ourselves, run toward holiness and rest in Christ. Monday join Mornings with Eric and Brigitte as they discuss an article in Christianity Today about yet another Christian celebrity who has fallen and how this impacts the church.
