Hour 1: Mental Health

What does it mean for God to restore your soul? Listen as Dawn and Steve in the Morning share a devotional from Blackaby Ministries International that will encourage us when we have grown weary.

He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.   Psalms 23:3

In addition, Phil Herndon talks with us about the Gospel and how it relates to mental health. Phil (MA, LPC-MHSP, NCC) is the Clinical Director at River Tree Center in Murfreesboro, TN.  His therapeutic approach is grounded in the Spiritual Root System™ and is informed by the work of Irvin Yalom and Dan Allender. He also integrates perspectives from Judeo-Christian traditions, existential philosophy, and pastoral care. Phil completed graduate school in 1992 with Master of Arts degrees in counseling and religious education. Phil lives in Murfreesboro with his wife Sheila and they have one son, Luke.

Hour 2: Mental Health

Dawn and Steve continue the conversation with Phil Herdon regarding mental health.
