Hour 1: Reframing Career Success

Start your week with God's word as Dawn and Steve in the Morning share a devotional from Blackaby Ministries International about trusting the Good Shepherd.

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.   Psalms 23:1-2

In addition, guest Kevin Anselmo challenges us to consider how we define success and identity as Christ-followers. Kevin is the Founder and Principal of Experiential Communications, a consultancy that aims for important ideas to be heard in a world of misinformation, distracted audiences, and alternative facts. This is primarily accomplished through strategic storytelling, engaging education, and robust reviews. He is the author of Maximize Your Impact: How Academics Can Communicate Knowledge Through Traditional and Digital Media and the host of the podcast Learning & Development Stories. Previously, Kevin was Director of Public Relations for Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and prior to that managed the media relations for IMD in Switzerland. Currently based in Sarasota, Florida, Kevin lived and worked in Switzerland for eight years and in Germany for two years. He has led public relations initiatives in various countries around the world. Kevin is married and has two young sons. He is a practicing Christian and tries to represent Christ with his words and actions.
