Start your week with Dawn and Steve in the Morning as they share a devotional from Blackaby Ministries International about diligence!
Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22
Dawn and Steve also talk about weekend updates, football, Disney and some of the latest headlines.
Melissa Briggs, an expert in Hebrew, will talk with us about the Hebrew word, HaEmet. Melissa is an experienced Hebrew teacher passionate about making the language of the Scriptures accessible to everyone. Born in the USA, Melissa studied Hebrew in Jerusalem, then taught in England for over a decade. She now lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband and two children. She loves helping students to achieve their goals of reading the Bible in the original language or learning to converse in Modern Hebrew.
In addition, author Dean Briggs will provide fathers and sons with some tools to help young men embrace a strong, humble Biblical masculinity. He is here to tell us all about the book BRAVEQUEST: A Boys Interactive Journey to Manhood. Dean is a disciple, storyteller, husband, father, and son. Together with his wife, Jeanie, they have eight grown children, two grandchildren, and live in Kansas City, Missouri. Dean is presently a full-time intercessory missionary, serving the senior leadership of IHOPKC.* He also teaches, preaches, dreams, and helps other ministries and businesses strategically maximize their vision, resources, and impact.
