He is the host of two daily radio broadcasts, the Crown Money Minute and My MoneyLife, featured on more than 1,100 Christian music and talk stations in the U.S., and the author of his most recent book Economic Evidence for God? He and his wife, Ann, are both graduates of Baylor University and have been married since 1978. They can be found reading and spending time outdoors with their family at their home in Knoxville, Tennessee when they are not traveling the world together to advance Crown's mission.

In 2017, the organization underwent a creative relaunch, and now produces a wider variety of media projects under the new name, UTR Media. Besides well-crafted music, Dave loves pizza, watching Netflix/Hulu, Apple products, fishing, the Cubs, and driving 5 mph over the speed limit. He lives in Murfreesboro, TN with his wife and 5 children.
