Hour 1: An Imperishable Crown

As Christians, are we preparing and striving for the everlasting reward? Join Dawn and Steve in the Morning for a devotional from Blackaby Ministries International about the imperishable crown.

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.   1 Corinthians 9:24-25

In addition, Dawn explores an article by Liz Lampkin called "11 Signs You Need to Break Up."

Hour 2: Processing Stress with Phil Herndon

Loss is the most universal experience for humanity. What do we do with all the stress and trauma in the news? Phil Herndon is with us this morning to help!

Phil Herndon (MA, LPC-MHSP, NCC) is the Clinical Director at River Tree Center in Murfreesboro, TN.  His therapeutic approach is grounded in the Spiritual Root System™ and is informed by the work of Irvin Yalom and Dan Allender.
