Our lives have an influence on those around us. Join Dawn and Steve in the Morning as they share a devotional from Blackaby Ministries International based on the life of Noah and the effect that his obedience had on his family.
Dawn and Steve also have an informative conversation about caring for our elderly parents based on Dustin Dedrick's article called "5 Things You Should Know About Parenting Your Parents."
Hour 2: The 5 Masculine Instincts
Dawn and Steve welcome Chase Replogle to the morning show to discuss his book The 5 Masculine Instincts: A Guide to Becoming a Better Man. Chase examines the lives of five men in the Bible and reveals that these men wrestled with their own desires and, by faith, matured into something better.
Chase Replogle is the pastor of Bent Oak Church in Springfield, Missouri. He holds a degree in Biblical Studies and an M.A. in New Testament from The Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. He is currently a D.Min. student in The Sacred Art of Writing at Western Theological Seminary. His work draws from history, psychology, literature, and a rich narrative approach to Scripture to help readers think more deeply about faith and life. He has written for Christianity Today, The Gospel Coalition, Ekstatis, Bible Engagement Project, and Influence Magazine. A native of the Ozark woods, he enjoys being outdoors with his wife and two kids, sailing, playing the mandolin (badly), and quail hunting with his bird dog Millie.
Hour 3: The Voice of the Martyrs
Todd Nettleton is a guest on Dawn and Steve in the Morning to provide some insight into the church around the world and our Brothers and Sisters in Christ who need help!
Todd is the Chief of Media Relations and Message Integration for The Voice of the Martyrs and hosts The Voice of the Martyrs Radio. Todd serves as a voice for persecuted Christians through writing, speaking, and working with the media to tell people in the United States about the faithfulness of Christ’s followers in 70+ nations where they face persecution.
