Hour 3: Hour 2: The Stranger at Our Shore
Pastor Joshua Sherif joins Dawn and Steve in the Morning to discuss his radical transformation, leaving the Muslim faith, and developing a personal relationship with Jesus. He has written the book The Stanger at Our Shore: How Immigrants and Refugees Strengthen the Church.
Joshua was born in Egypt to a Muslim family and immigrated to the United States, where he later came to faith in Jesus. For the past decade, he has planted and pastored in Albany Park, Chicago, IL, one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the country. His congregation represents more than thirty nationalities, speaking twenty languages. Josh has enjoyed his years equipping and coaching other missionaries and pastors around the world. His story was featured in Love Costs Everything, a documentary produced by CIY and Voice of the Martyrs, concerning Christian persecution.

Directors of Phare Warrior Leadership Academy, Bob Loy and Matt Zappasodi, join Dawn and Steve in the Morning to discuss Fight Club, a men's discipleship resource that has been developed by men, for men, to reach men - to turn the tide on mediocrity and cause men to stand and say "not on my watch!"

Hour 8: Hour 2: Authentic Intimacy
God has something to say about our sexuality. Dr. Juli Slattery joins Dawn and Steve in the Morning for an important conversation about authentic intimacy from a biblical perspective. She will also share her new book called God, Sex and Your Marriage.
Dr. Juli Slattery is a clinical psychologist, author, speaker, and the president/co-founder of Authentic Intimacy. Juli earned her college degree at Wheaton College, an MA in psychology from Biola University, and an MS and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology. From 2008 to 2012, Dr. Slattery served at Focus on the Family writing, teaching, and co-hosting the Focus on the Family Broadcast. In 2012, she left Focus on the Family to start Authentic Intimacy, a ministry devoted to reclaiming God’s design for sexuality. In 2020, Juli launched SexualDiscipleship.com, a platform designed to help Christian leaders navigate sexual issues and questions with gospel-centered truth. Juli is the author of twelve books, including the newly released "God, Sex, and Your Marriage," and host of the weekly podcast “Java with Juli.” Juli and her husband Mike are the parents of 3 sons; they live in Akron, Ohio.

Dr. Jim Denison joins the morning show for a conversation about our culture and how this should drive us to pray! Dr. Denison is an author, speaker, and CEO of Denison Ministries. He speaks biblically about significant cultural issues at DenisonForum.org and DrJimDenison.com, as well as on radio, TV, podcasts, and social media.
In addition, Dennis Allen is here to share his book The Disciple Dilemma: Rethinking and Reforming How the Church Does Discipleship. Dennis is a Chief Executive Officer in corporate America. He has also served in leadership with churches of all sizes, as an elder chair, deacon, teacher, and speaker in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Dennis earned his B.S. in Industrial Management from the University of Alabama, with an MBA from Xavier University. He is also an alumnus of the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics in Oxford, UK. Dennis and his wife, Karen, live outside of Washington, D.C.
