Jason Thacker with the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) is a guest on Dawn and Steve Mornings for an informative discussion about ethics and technology in 2022. Jason encourages us to ask ourselves some important questions before we post.
Jason Thacker serves as chair of research in technology ethics and leads the ERLC Research Institute. He writes and speaks on various topics including human dignity, ethics, public theology, technology, digital governance, and artificial intelligence. His book, The Age of AI: Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Humanity, was released in March 2020 with Zondervan. He is a graduate of The University of Tennessee and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Christian Ethics and Public Theology. He is married to Dorie and they have two sons.
Author, Dr. Amanda Porter, joins Dawn and Steve Mornings to tackle mental health and anxiety. Dr. Amanda has written a new book Dear Anxiety, Let's Break Up - a devotional that provides practical tools to overcome anxiety from both a medical and biblical perspective. Amanda is a nurse practitioner, specializing in Integrative Mental Health, board-certified in internal medicine, psychiatry/mental health, and addictions, and practicing at the nationally-renowned Lindner Center of HOPE in Mason, Ohio.
