There is often pressure to compromise our faith. Listen to Dawn and Steve Mornings and learn 3 reasons to stand by your faith based on an article by David Schuman, an associate pastor at Exilic Church in Manhattan.
Our relationship with our earthly fathers can deeply affect our identity and the direction of our lives. NFL Coach Sherman Smith is a guest on Dawn and Steve Mornings to share his story and tell us about the encouraging documentary Show Me the Father. In 1976, Sherman was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks. In 1995, he joined the Houston Oilers (now the Tennessee Titans) as running backs coach. In 2008, he joined the Washington Redskins as offensive coordinator. Smith then reunited with the Seattle Seahawks and was part of the 2013-2014 Super Bowl-winning team. Sherman is a loyal follower of Christ and a devoted husband and father. He has three children and has been married to his college sweetheart, Sharon, for 44 years.
Chosen Road is in studio this morning to talk about their new album Appalachian Hymns and their involvement with the North American Mission Board (NAM). Jonathan Buckner, Zachary Alvis, Tyler Robertson, and Josh Hicks are simply four good friends who share a love for music and a passion for sharing Jesus Christ. Established in 2009, they have watched in amazement as God has taken their music to audiences as far away as Scotland, France, and Ireland.
