Hour 2: The Age of Artificial Intelligence

Technology is ever-changing! Jason Thacker is a guest on Dawn and Steve Mornings to help us understand metaverse, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and augmented reality. 

Jason Thacker serves as chair of research in technology ethics at The Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention. He also serves as an adjunct instructor of philosophy, ethics, and worldview at Boyce College in Louisville, KY. He is the author of the forthcoming book, Following Jesus in the Digital Age with B&H Publishing, as well as The Age of AI: Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Humanity with Zondervan. He also serves as the editor of a forthcoming volume with B&H Academic on Christian ethics and the digital public square, focused on content moderation and online governance. He is the project leader and lead drafter of Artificial Intelligence: An Evangelical Statement of Principles, and his work has been featured at SlatePoliticoChristianity TodayThe Gospel Coalition, and World Radio.  He is married to Dorie and they have two sons. They live outside of Nashville, TN.

Jim Paris with is a guest on the morning show to provide some information about birthday freebies! Jim Paris is the author of more than 30 books including the bestsellers Living Financially Free and How To Pray For A Financial Miracle. Paris is the Editor in Chief of the website and the host of Jim Paris Live.

In addition, Dawn and Steve welcome Pastor Jim Putman!  He will share his book The Revolutionary Disciple and provide some guidance for navigating cultural changes with humility. Jim Putman is the senior pastor of Real Life Ministries in Post Falls, Idaho. He holds degrees from Boise State University and Boise Bible College and is the author or coauthor of discipleship books, including Church Is a Team SportReal-Life Discipleship, and DiscipleShift.
