God promised Abraham many descendants, as countless as the stars. Rabbi Jeff Adler takes us to Genesis 15, and teaches how God "booked" Abraham, establishing him for righteousness. Listen as we dig deep into the Old Testament with the Abrahamic Covenenant on Throwback Thursday.
Every time there is a stimulus to fear, we have to make a solid choice to trust the Lord. Abram's security is not based on the feeling of the moment, but each time he basks (chooses to focus) on the promises of God.
Craving strong spiritual leadership? Many Indiana pastors have a common goal: to introduce a broken and hurting community to the Savior Jesus Christ! Kelli and Steve are interviewing pastors within our Moody Radio listening area, the men and women behind the pulpits, to discover the hearts of humble leadership, and bring unity to the body of Christ.
Today we spotlight Steve Whicker of East Side Baptist Church in Crawfordsville. This pastor from Montgomery County is making disciples with the transforming power of the Gospel.
Christian comedian, John Crist has hit national headlines, being charged with sexual misconduct. Steve and Hannah share the breaking news, and their thoughts on sexual brokenness. Truth is always revealed, and the platform must be acknowledged. Please pray for every person involved, forgiveness, healing, and maturity within the body of Christ. Jesus can make beauty of ashes, and Christ will be glorified.
