Hour 1: Biblical Worldview Question of the Week

What is God's will for my life?

God's primary will for us is that we believe that Jesus died and rose again for the forgiveness of our sins. Once we believe, we become His child and live in fellowship with Him, where we learn to love and obey Him for His glory and our good. If we desire something that does not give God glory, and is not for our good, then it is not the will of God. Nancy Fitzgerald of Anchorsaway, encourages us by saying, "God's will can be difficult because it requires patience. By nature, we want to know the answers to our questions yesterday! Sometimes, it is good to enjoy the walk with our Lord and not always be thinking about something that needs to happen in a timely fashion. Slow down, be still, and know that God is way ahead of us. He is all-knowing and always has our best interest at heart."
