What should our response be when so many Christians leave their faith?
Up to 80% of college students walk away from their Christian faith, but we don't hear about most of them. Nancy Fitzgerald shares Ephesians 1:7-9, and says, "If our faith is shaken when friends fall, it reveals what is wrong with our own faith." In whom do we trust? Shock, sadness, grief and disappointment are natural and appropriate responses when someone we admire falls morally or walks away from their faith. Our job? Resist distraction, love God and love others well.
This Thursday, October 3, is National Bring Your Bible to School Day. Candi Chushman, Direcetor of Education at Focus on the Family, hops on the air with Kelli and Steve to empower kids to bring their faith to school in a respectful way. In four years the event went from 8,000 participants to more than 650,000! Candi shares the joy and encouragement students experience when connecting in visual unity. Seeing a Bible on a desk, or in someone elses' arms gives hope and courage to those who've been silent about their faith.
