Today we recap last weekend's "Kind Harvest" fundraising feast and send the MFB towards Florida relief efforts.  Hurricane Michael devastated Mexico Beach, and its inhabitance are homeless, as they've lost everything. The local Indiana church can bring hope through service, pointing to our Savior.

John comes to Midwest Food Bank with over 30 Years experience in retail and wholesale grocery operations and has been actively involved in local ministry and church leadership serving for 7 years as the Pastor of Administration at Gray Road Church and School on Indianapolis’s south side.  John is currently the Vice Chair and charter member of the Indy Hunger Network which is a Nationally recognized organization that works on Hunger advocacy and building an effective feeding network in Indianapolis.  John’s passion to care for the needy started when he organized and lead a team of volunteers to minister to Hurricane Katrina victims one week after that disaster.
