Welcome again to MOODY PRESENTS with Mark Jobe, President of Moody Bible Institute and Senior Pastor of New Life Community Church in Chicago.
Getting distracted, It’s easy isn’t it. You know, producing Moody Presents for you each week is a big job, and according to Pastor Mark, it seems like the bigger the job, the more we have a tendency to be distracted along the way. Nehemiah encountered this as the work got underway rebuilding Jerusalem and you say we can expect distractions spiritually when we attempt to work on areas of our lives that need work… Heading now to chapter 6 of Nehemiah, here is Mark Jobe with part 1 of “Keeping Focused in The Midst of Distraction” on MOODY PRESENTS.
Dr. Mark Jobe serves as president of Moody Bible Institute and host of Moody Radio’s Bold Steps programs. He is the author of Unstuck: Out of Your Cave into Your Call (Moody Publishers). He is also the founding pastor of New Life Community Church, a Chicago-based ministry with 27 locations throughout Chicago. Mark earned a diploma from Moody in 1984, a master’s degree from Moody Theological Seminary, and a doctorate in transformational leadership from Bakke Graduate University. He and his wife, Dee, have three adult children.
Jon Gauger has worked at Moody Radio for more than three decades. In addition to hosting Today in the Word Radio and Moody Presents with Dr. Mark Jobe, Jon produces and hosts The Land and the Book. Jon is the author of If I Could Do It All Over Again and Kids Say the Wisest Things. Jon, his wife, Diana, and their two grown children are all Moody graduates.
