2022-11-19 CSI: Christ Said I AM the Good Shepherd Part 2
It's time for Moody Presents with Pastor Mark Jobe, President of Moody Bible Institute and Senior Pastor of New Life Community Church in Chicago. If you’ve just joined us, we’ve been learning all about the claims of Christ these past several weeks. The “I AM” statements that Jesus made about Himself, found in the book of John, are so revealing about His character but even more importantly how we are to live in light of these phrases. There is so much to unpack and so much to learn. Last week Dr. Jobe began a messaged called Investigating the Claims of Christ: I AM the Good Shepherd. We learned so far that sheep know the shepherd’s voice and follow him, you also learned about Pastor Mark losing track of his wife Dee in a store and it was her unique and recognizable voice that Mark knew instantly. The same should be true of our relationship with Jesus? We have a calling to know the voice of God, to listen to it, and follow. Let’s join Pastor Mark for part two of CSI: Christ Said I AM, investigating the claims of Christ as the Good Shepherd.

Dr. Mark Jobe
Dr. Mark Jobe serves as president of Moody Bible Institute and host of Moody Radio’s Bold Steps programs. He is the author of Unstuck: Out of Your Cave into Your Call (Moody Publishers). He is also the founding pastor of New Life Community Church, a Chicago-based ministry with 27 locations throughout Chicago. Mark earned a diploma from Moody in 1984, a master’s degree from Moody Theological Seminary, and a doctorate in transformational leadership from Bakke Graduate University. He and his wife, Dee, have three adult children.
Jon Gauger
Jon Gauger has worked at Moody Radio for more than three decades. In addition to hosting Today in the Word Radio and Moody Presents with Dr. Mark Jobe, Jon produces and hosts The Land and the Book. He writes and produces a weekly commentary, creates special documentaries, and has traveled to more than 35 countries covering stories for Moody Radio and training international broadcasting partners. Jon is the author of If I Could Do It All Over Again and Kids Say the Wisest Things. Jon, his wife, Diana, and their two grown children are all Moody graduates.

Join us for Moody Presents with Dr. Mark Jobe, a weekly half-hour teaching program featuring Moody President Mark Jobe and hosted by Jon Gauger. In addition to motivating truths from God’s Word, this program regularly features music by the four student ensembles of Moody Bible Institute along with student and alumni testimonies.
