Matthew 19:16-30 | Jesus’ encounter with an extremely wealthy man as outlined in Matthew 19 is so important that it is mentioned in three of the four gospels. Throughout the book of Matthew, Jesus underscores that the kingdom belongs to the humble and the dependent. He is being consistent about what He calls “entrance into the kingdom.” We must never assume our “goodness” will help us into heaven.  Today on Living a Legacy, our study shows that we must solely cling to the King.
