A bit of news...
Just in case you missed the big announcement on the air yesterday... this will be our last week for Kurt Goff Live.
You know how we talk about following the Lord.. wherever He may lead?
Well... I'll be living it out.. again!
I've accepted the position of Morning Show Host at Moody Radio Florida which serves Tampa Bay, Central and Southwest Florida. Very excited!
We have so many good friends of the show in that area. :)
But this hasn't been an easy decision.
Long story short: Over the past few months I've had a nagging feeling that God was preparing me for a change in assignment. It would show up in my Bible reading, circumstances, and of course that small, still voice.
Also.. the physical and lifestyle challenges of working overnight suddenly hit home for me. I shared all of this with leadership here at Moody and we prayed and waited on the Lord. Well.. He's spoken.
But it's still bittersweet!
It's been the joy of my life to spend time with you live every night. Sharing the gospel, encouraging one another in Christ, navigating life in real time...praying for each other, having a few laughs, tackling tough topics..my goodness.. on and on it goes. The body of Christ at it's best. I'm grateful beyond words.
"It might have been an angel..."
Have you ever wondered if God sent an angel to help you in some way?
Of course we don't worship the angels.. We worship the God of the angels!
Got a story?
"For He will give His angels charge concerning you, To guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, That you do not strike your foot against a stone." (Psalm 91:11-12)
