Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our new theme: "Discipline Week". We discussed what it means to have a disciplined mind. God's Word is filled with verses on the importance of having a Spirit lead mindset. Scripture references included Romans 8:6-8, Romans 12:2, Colossians 3:2-3, and Philippians 4:8. Where is your mind? What destruction mindset do you have...that you need to destroy and give to God? Our special guest was Ray McElroy. Ray is a former NFL football player who played for the Bears. He is now a motivational speaker and devotes his time to empowering and mentoring youth. His non-profit organization is called A Ray of Hope on Earth. He shared powerful examples of mind discipline through examples of being an athlete. You can hear highlights of the program on the Karl and Crew Showcast.
