Forsake Freedoms for the Kingdom

Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we discussed making an impact for the Kingdom of God! We need to forgo certain freedoms in order to advance the cause of Christ.  Paul explains it clearly in I Corinthians 9, especially verses 19-23.  In Christ, we have the freedom to give up those freedoms that could hinder the Kingdom of God in our witness.  Our guest was Jim Strietelmeier, founder and pastor of Neighborhood Fellowship Church in inner-city Indy.  He is a Moody alum, a Moody alum of the year recipient, and a missionary.  He shared the impact his church is having in their community.  Finally, this is week 9 of our "Summer of Ten" Bible memorization campaign.  This week's verse is James 1:5.  Hear the highlights of today's program by listening to the Karl and Crew Showcast.
