Wisdom of Words

Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our weekly theme: "The Wisdom of Proverbs", and we discussed the wisdom in our words.  Words are a reflection of our hearts.  Words can cut, or they can encourage.  There is power in the tongue, and only the Holy Spirit has the power to change our hearts.  How did God give you victory over your speech?  The scripture references were Proverbs 18:21 and Proverbs 4:23.  One of our guests was Erica Wiggenhorn.  She is the founder of Every Life Ministries and author of "An Unexpected Revival: Experiencing God's Goodness Through Disappointment and Doubt".  We also talked with Wes Ward, the new Vice President of Moody Radio.  He shared about MBI's Fiscal Year End campaign.  Finally, this is week three of our Bible memorization campaign, "Summer of 10".  The scripture passage is Hebrews 4:16.  You can listen to the Karl and Crew Showcast to hear highlights of today's program.
