Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we kicked off a new weekly theme on Prayer. We discussed the questions, "Am I doing it right? Why or why not?". One key reason we may not be doing prayer right is that we aren't listening. Are we really listening and paying attention to God's voice? We pray and ask, but do we listen for Him to answer? Do we seek the Holy Spirit's help to hear God? Our special guest was Greg Dempter, Founder and Director of ChristLife Ministries. Also, this Thursday is the National day of Prayer. Roy Patterson (MBI Community Relations Director) joined us to share about Chicago Day of Prayer events along with a special prayer meeting video with Karl Clauson that morning. Finally, we talked with Dr. Gerald Dew, Pastor of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago. Their church was detroyed by a terrible fire on Good Friday. There is a special "Build Antioch" Day Sunday, May 15th. You can hear highlights of today's program on the Karl and Crew Showcast by clicking the audio button below.
