Hour 1: The Upper Room

Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our special theme: "Holy Week", and we discussed the Upper Room time Jesus spent with His disciples including washing their feet.  The scripture reference was John 13:1-20.  Jesus celebrated Passover, the Last Supper, with the 12.  He also showed the most perfect act of humility and service:  Jesus washed the feet of the disciples.  He showed them, and us, that we are to serve as well, not be served.  We had great discussion on what does modern day foot-washing look like. Karl also shared how this weekend, Easter, is a perfect time for resolution and starting anew.  Hear today's highlights on the Karl and Crew Showcast by clicking the audio button below.

Hour 2: The True Vine

Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our special theme: "Holy Week", and we discussed John 15 where Jesus explains to His disciples about abiding in the vine and bearing fruit.  Jesus was spending His last moments with them at the Mount of Olives, and He shared what a disciple truly is and how to become one.  How do we know we're being good disciples?  What is it to bear fruit?  What is the Fruit?  The Fruit you bear determines your discipleship.  Jesus gave His disciples, and us, the perfect example and reason: "By this, My Father is glorified".  Hear today's highlights on the Karl and Crew Showcast by clicking the audio button below.
