Loving the Lonely

Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we kicked off a weekly theme: "Called to Love", and we discussed loving the lonely.  There's a definite difference between being alone and being lonely.  Are we doing enough to reach out to the lonely?  Is the church?  David experienced loneliness and his emotions are found in Psalm 142.  Special guests included Steve DeWitt (Senior Pastor of Bethel Church and host of the program The Journey) who wrote an article for Desiring God called "Loneliness Has Been My Faithful Friend", and also, Lisa Anderson (Director of Boundless and young adults at Focus on the Family).  You can hear the highlights of today's show by clicking the audio button below.
