Loss of An Idol - Freedom Friday

Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we concluded our weekly theme: "Life After Loss".  We discussed the loss of an idol on this Freedom Friday.  An idol is a god substitute that falsely gives you power and identity.  The scripture reference was Ez.14:3.  We asked the question, "What idol did you put to death to have life in experience freedom in Jesus?".   Our guest was John Hannah, founder and lead pastor of New Life Covenant Church Southeast.  He released a new book called, "Just Pray: How a Life of Prayer Grows Unshakeable Faith".  We also have a special themed resource.  Coping with loss is one of life’s greatest difficulties, but it can also bring transformative growth to our lives.  If you've experienced the pain of grief, Moody Radio is here to provide support and encouragement with helpful resources.  Finally, check out the Karl and Crew Showcast to hear some of the best moments from today's show.
