Big God - Victory and Peace

Today on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our Big God weekly theme. The scripture reference was Judges 6-7 about the story of Gideon.  We discussed how God wants victory and peace for us, but we often don't experience them because of sin, resources, and our identity perception.  What's stealing your victory and peace?  It's important to understand that victory does not equal peace: true victory is only in God.  In connection with our topic today, we offered a resource. It is critical to understand who you are in Christ. Have you stopped to consider your identity?  Karl wrote a blog called "Truth" available at www.180chicago.church (and below).  We also have a new giveaway this week: The Fruit of the Spirit Gift Boxes.  Author Drew Dyck joined us.  His book, "Your Future Self Will Thank You" is part of the giveaway.  Listen daily for a chance to win, or go to www.moodyradio.org.  Finally, Take a listen to the Karl and Crew Showcast and hear some of the best moments from today.

Truth – Who You Are

Whatever you are believing about yourself today will be lived out in your life tomorrow. It is critical to understand who you are in Christ. If you have come to grips with your sin, confessed it to God, fully surrendered your life to Jesus and are being led by the Spirit – you are rich beyond imagination.

Have you stopped to consider your identity? Internalize the realities of who you are in Christ and you'll be shocked. Let the truth of your identity wallpaper your mind and you'll be transformed. Everything about your life flows from your identity. It's time to believe the truth!

Know who you are in the light of God's truth!
