Today on Karl and Crew Mornings, we talk about how God promises us greatness. In Matthew 23:8-12, Jesus tells His disciples that the greatest among them will be a servant. He says, "For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." God wants us to be great, but He wants us to work, not for the sight of others, but His glory. As we continue to humble ourselves and do what we do for His glory and not our own, then we will be truly great in the way God intends for us to be. Jeffery Isola, worker for Safe Families in development and church engagement, and Bridgette Gilchrist, serving on a Safe Families leadership team in her church and has been involved in the training of host families, are both host families for this ministry and join us to share what the Safe Families does, life transformation stories, and what to expect from the First Look For Charity at McCormick Place, Friday, February 7th, 7:00-11:00 pm. If you would like to give to this ministry by through donation, or by attending the First Look For Charity, check out this link: https://safe-families.org/.
