Today on Karl and Crew Mornings, the team talks about the advantage of the Holy Spirit. When Jesus was with his disciples, he warned them that he would be leaving soon. This must have made the disciples confused, but Jesus left them with some hope. He says, "it is to your advantage that I go." That is because the Holy Spirit would not be with us if Jesus stayed. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, righteousness and judgement and although it doesn't feel very good to be convicted, we couldn't move closer to God without that. The aching we feel in our hearts that tells us something needs to change is the work of the Holy Spirit. Do not deny it, but accept it, receive it, and move forward.
