Today on Karl and Crew Mornings, the team talks about following your spouse. Culture has demeaned the role of the wife in a marriage for too long and we wanted to debunk some myths. We look to the passage in Genesis where woman is referred to as a "helper" for man. Many see this as a secondary roll, but the Hebrew word, "Ezer" here has so much more significance. It is also used to refer to God's help for us when we are in need and can't do it alone. This is the way we should look at our wives. Not as some assistant, but rather someone to stand with us and fight when we can't do it by ourselves.
Start your day with spiritual encouragement, fresh conversation, and the power of prayer. Join Karl and Crew weekdays from 5 to 9 a.m. Moody Radio in Chicago.
