Today on Karl and Crew Mornings, the team kicks off Dad's Week. Father's Day is just around the corner, and the team wants to dedicate the week for all the awesome dads out there. The day started off with Karl sharing a story about the importance of his dad's words to him. As Karl made his way onto the iditarod, his dad stopped him for one final word of encouragement. When no one else believed in Karl to survive this race, his dad told Karl that he knew he could do it. Those words have stuck with Karl for 40 years. What words from your dad have stuck with you?
Later on, Chris Baker from Ink 180 joins us to talk about his ministry and how God changed him into being the dad he knew he needed to be. His kids now refer to him as "Old Dad" and "New Dad". If you would like to check out Chris' ministry, please click here: http://ink180.com/
Start your day with spiritual encouragement, fresh conversation, and the power of
prayer. Join Karl and Crew weekdays from 5 to 9 a.m. Moody Radio in Chicago.
