Idolizing Pain

Today on Karl and Crew Mornings, the team tackles one of the more difficult aspects of idols: pain. No one would outright say they enjoy going through pain, yet so many times people are too content to sit in it. They may be completely justified in feeling pain, but that refusal to keep moving forward can hinder our relationship with God and with others. Karl shares a story of betrayal and the pain he felt through it. Karl was content to sit in this until a friend of his came alongside him and told him that this pain was hindering him from moving with God. It is absolutely right to feel pain when it is there. Everyone has pain to deal with, but it is what we do after the mourning is over. Make that choice to lean on God today.
