Can You Idolize Your Child?

There is no such thing as loving your child too much, but can you hold them higher than God in your heart? Today on Karl and Crew Mornings, the team continues their talk about idols with a second week of discussion. A good parent only wants the best for their child, but sometimes we can want things for them for the wrong reasons. Whether it is seeing your child grow up to become the baseball star you never were, or to see them graduate college because you are worried about them making it in life, these aspirations can cause us to hold our child as an idol in our lives. Give your child up to God. It is not about what you want for your child, but rather what God wants for your child.
