Hour 1: Fighting For The Family

Our focus this hour is on the family. We start by discussing a new nationwide study on faith and relationships showing that a forty-year decline in marriage and fatherhood, loneliness and stagnant relationships are causing a reduction in faith among members of subsequent generations. We then talk to a mom who believes there are many creative ways to be able to work from home and stay with the children. She’ll share some ideas. Join us as we celebrate family this hour!

Hour 2: Afterwork

Our society declares that a self-focused, uber-comfortable, and vacation-minded retirement is what we want. That retirement is mostly a financial problem to be solved. What could possibly go wrong with double the free time and less structure in your life? But, this is where we go wrong. The retirement lie says that a successful retirement is an endless vacation based on financial security, but this way of thinking is a down payment toward purposelessness and disappointment. Join us as we expose the retirement lie and explore various ways to avoid a destiny of disillusionment.
