Hour 1: Joy-Filled People

Are some people just born happy? Most of us grew up thinking that joy is random and fleeting, instead of something we can actually count on or build our life around. But brain science has revealed that joy is the perfect word to describe the fuel on which our brains run. So how do we live a joy-filled life? Today we will show you how to build habits that fill our lives with greater joy and satisfaction. Joy is possible. It doesn’t have to be a random experience that catches you off guard now and then. Some of the most joyful people have endured unbelievable trauma. Joy-filled living expands our world. It makes life an adventure and teaches us to live for what is truly satisfying. Discover the skills and habits you can develop that will enhance your very quality of life.

Hour 2: Why Bad Looks Good

Have you ever misjudged a situation that appeared desirable but ended in disaster? Have you been betrayed by a friend, coworker, or love interest? We all face challenging, heartbreaking experiences that require us to make important decisions. Unlike worldly advice, God’s advice is perfect.  Today our guest will teach us how to:

  • assess people and circumstances clearly and accurately,
  • identify healthy sources of power,
  • surround yourself with trustworthy people, and
  • transform rose-colored glasses into reading glasses.

We are drawn to talent, wealth, and beauty, yet all of those things come from God. Apply His divine wisdom to live peacefully but proactively, compassionately yet carefully, and adopt a fresh, uplifting outlook on life.
