Then we will discuss the latest trend in burials and why some say it's good for the environment. We round out the hour learning more about the ramifications of the (Dis)Respect For Marriage Act. Get ready to think critically and biblically.

Hour 2: Hollywood and Heaven

Join us as we learn how to pray for a specific group of people. The most influential group of people in America are those who serve in the entertainment industry. We will hear from the head of the ministry who teaches believers how to pray for those who serve in this area. We will also turn our focus on the Persecuted Church and once again hear a report on what is happening to our brothers and sisters in specific countries.

In May 2004, because of his work in bioethics, he was named by the National Journal as one of the nation's top expert thinkers in bioengineering. In 2008, the Human Life Foundation named him a Great Defender of Life for his work against assisted suicide and euthanasia. He is the author or coauthor of twelve books and blogs about human life and dignity at Human Exceptionalism, hosted by National Review Online.

As Founding Director of Hollywood Prayer Network, Karen speaks and teaches around the country on how people of faith can pray for the people in the entertainment industry. She is also a published co-author of two books: How to Talk About Jesus Without Freaking Out and The Day I Met God. Aside from her leadership at HPN, Karen is Co-Founder and Producer for JC Productions, an independent TV and music production company. She has had extensive experience producing TV specials, documentaries and children's programming. Karen is a member of the Producers Guild of America, a founding member of PREMISE, and a board member of the Biola University Entertainment Task Force. She is a graduate of USC with a BA in Producing.

In his role with VOM, he has met with Christians who face persecution in many countries, including Sudan, China, Egypt, Turkey, Vietnam, Pakistan, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar (Burma) and Azerbaijan.
