Jill Stanek is the Community Outreach Manager for HerPLAN (Her Pregnancy and Life Assistance Network). HerPLAN is a sister-organization to Lozier Institute, with a focus on strengthening the pro-life safety net. Jill was a labor & delivery nurse at Christ Hospital near Chicago when she discovered that babies who were born alive during botched abortions were being left to die in a linen closet. Jill blew the whistle and was subsequently terminated. She has testified 14 times before Congressional committees and several state legislatures. WORLD named her one of the 30 most prominent pro-life leaders over the past 30 years. President Bush invited her to the signing of the Partial Birth Abortion ban. Now, after a remarkable career in the pro-life movement, Jill has turned her attention toward strengthening the pro-life safety net. She and her team have identified the 7 primary reasons why women obtain abortions. They are using this knowledge to strengthen the pro-life safety net.
