Hour 2: I Have Been Transformed

Today's culture is drowning in the lies of the "born that way" ideology that claims desires and feelings cannot change or be overridden. Today our guest will share her story as a former transgender, who believed those same lies and was determined to never return to being female no matter what it cost her. And cost her, it did. Her story sheds light on the common deceptions about the transgender lifestyle, and exposes the frustration and hopelessness of living with a self-created identity that is in opposition to who God created. It bravely leads the way out of the darkness and into the light of freedom that transgenders may desperately be seeking. Also joining us is a former lesbian who ministers to people with same-sex attraction. Come to hear the story of what it means to be authentically transformed and get compassionate answers to your questions on this crucial topic.

Keith Getty

Keith Getty and his wife and Kristyn continue to be global ambassadors for modern hymns in the USA and throughout the world. In addition to their Christmas show, the Gettys tour internationally, visiting venues as diverse as the Ryman Auditorium, Belfast’s Waterfront Hall, The Pentagon, and Royal Albert Hall, with performances for George W. Bush, the United Nations, and South Korea President Lee Myung-bak.  This worldwide representation of modern hymns led to the creation in 2017 of their global church music conference in Nashville, Tennessee, Sing! The Getty Music Worship Conference. The Gettys' hymns are used increasingly both in contemporary and traditional circles, being included in most modern hymnbooks (with a number of these now listing “Getty” as the most-featured composers), while in the more contemporary church, more than 60 of their songs are featured on top 2,000 CCLI charts between the UK and USA.
