Tara Sander Lee, Ph.D. is the Senior Fellow and Director of Life Sciences at the Charlotte Lozier Institute, an organization dedicated to policies and practices that protect the sanctity of human life. She is a scientist with 20 years’ experience in academic and clinical medicine with an emphasis on the cause of pediatric disease. She studied heart development as a post-doctoral research fellow at Harvard Medical School and for many years directed a medical college research laboratory investigating congenital heart disease in children. She is lead editor of VoyageOfLife.com, a Lozier Institute resource making the science of human prenatal development accessible, and contributed a chapter on human prenatal development to Choose Life: Answering Key Claims of Abortion Defenders with Compassion, which was published earlier this year by Moody Publishers.
