Tim Winter
With more than 30 years in broadcasting, cable, internet and new media technologies, along with a law degree, Tim Winter brings a wealth of experience to his position as president of the Parents Television and Media Council (PTC). The PTC is a non-partisan education organization advocating responsible entertainment. He is passionate about protecting children from the harmful effects of graphic violence, sex, and profanity on children. He has been a fierce advocate for children and families during his 18+ year tenure at the PTC, frequently calling on the entertainment industry to be more responsible with the content it produces and markets to children. Mr. Winter has been fighting the growing trend of Hollywood’s sexualization of children in entertainment. To help combat negative and harmful representations of girls in the media, Mr. Winter helped launch the PTC’s “4 Every Girl” Campaign that advocates for healthier media images that value, respect, empower and promote the true value of every girl.
Dr. Jeff Myers
Dr. Jeff Myers is president of Summit Ministries, a highly respected worldview training program whose graduates are making a difference in politics, law, academics, medicine, science, and business. In the last 20 years Dr. Myers has become one of America’s most respected authorities on youth leadership development. Through his appearances on Fox News and other media programs, Dr. Myers has become a fresh voice offering humor and insight from a Christian worldview. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree and teaches leadership courses through Lumerit and Belhaven University. As a communicator, Dr. Myers weaves together biblical insight, penetrating social commentary, fascinating research, and hilarious personal stories to motivate and challenge listeners. His inspiring presentations have delighted audiences of teachers, business leaders, parents, and young adults, renewing their enthusiasm for passing the baton of godly faithfulness. Dr. Myers’ many books and video courses include Secrets of Great Communicators, Secrets of the World-Changers, Secrets of Everyday Leaders, Grow Together, Cultivate, The Summit Worldview Library, The Secret Battle of the Ideas About God, and Unquestioned Answers.
Dr. Michael Youssef
Dr. Michael Youssef was born in Egypt and lived in Lebanon and Australia before coming to the United States and fulfilling a childhood dream of becoming an American citizen. He holds degrees from Moore College in Sydney, Australia, and Fuller Theological Seminary in California, with a Ph.D. in social anthropology from Emory University. He founded The Church of The Apostles in 1987 with fewer than 40 adults with the mission to "Equip the Saints and Seek the Lost." The church has since grown to a congregation of over 3000. This church on a hill was the launching pad for Leading The Way's international ministry.
