Dr. Karl Payne is a pastor, teacher, speaker, author and former NFL chaplain. He is currently on staff at Antioch Bible Church of Redmond, WA. where his primary role is serving as the Pastor of Leadership Development and Discipleship Training. He served as the chaplain for the Seattle Seahawks football team from 1994-2015. Dr. Payne is the author of the 3 books discipleship series Transferable Cross Training Volumes 1-3. He co-authored A Just Defense (1987) and Cross Training (1993). He also contributed to two reference books, The Encyclopedia of Biblical Christian Ethics and The Popular Encyclopedia of Apologetics. His own book, Spiritual Warfare: Christians, Demonization and Deliverance (2011) continues to be a popular reference of the topic of spiritual warfare.
Bill Gertz is National Security Columnist for The Washington Times. He studied English literature at Washington College in Chestertown, Md., and journalism at George Washington University, Washington, DC. In March 2014, Bill was awarded the Reed Irvine Award for Investigative Journalism by Accuracy in Media. In September 1999, Bill was awarded the Western Journalism Center award for investigative journalism. The United States Business and Industrial Council awarded him the "Defender of the National Interest Award" in June 1998, and in 1997 he was recognized by The Washington Times for excellence in achievement. Bill is an expert on China, the CIA and U.S. Defense. He has lectured extensively on defense, national security, and media issues.
