Nearly eight in ten Americans believe in angels. Even among those who never attend church, it’s four out of ten. In the United Kingdom, one in three people believes they have a guardian angel. You may well be one of them. Every tenth person in your street or workplace thinks they may have seen or heard an angel in some way. Books telling the story of angelic encounters are best sellers. Despite the widespread rejection of Christianity in our culture, many people are still fascinated by angels. But what we can know for sure about angels? Are we dependent on second–hand accounts? Are we left with conjecture and guesswork? Join us as our guest delves into the mysterious world of angels and shows us what the Bible says about what angels are, what they do, and where they lead us.
When our once-solid worlds suddenly shift and heave, we find ourselves desperately trying to hold it all together. We suffer silently, ashamed of our struggles with things like anxiety, depression, and sleeplessness--after all, everyone else seems to be fine. Yet the truth is that everyone tastes from the cup of suffering. With unassuming honesty and candor, our guest will openly share what he learned in his own three-year battle with darkness. Integrating the best of theology with Christ-centered psychology, he offers scriptural truths that will help lead you out of the murky depths. Though it feels as if this dark night will never end, you can walk through your uncertainty, fears, and tears to find the edge of hope again.
